Located along the Decker’s Creek Trail between the Walnut and Pleasant Street bridges, Stanley’s Spot Dog Park is one of Morgantown’s most beloved dog parks. Off the Rail Trail, the play area includes a large fenced-in space and benches.
The park’s most recent addition features a mut-themed mural and an eight-foot sculpture of a bright yellow fire hydrant. The installation is named after the primary benefactor, George Laishley’s, beloved Dalmatian. Morgantown Dog Owners Group (MDOG) and BOPARC are excited to keep improving Stanley’s Dog Park for our four-legged friends, and hope you will check out these unique art installations with your pups!
Interested visitors should park in the Spruce St. Parking Garage, the Walnut St. Parking Garage, or by the Amphitheater in Hazel Ruby McQuain Park for convenience. Walk down Elk St. from the Walnut St. parking garage or on the trail toward Sabraton from the Amphitheater.
