Zines are a fun, creative art form used to express comics, essays, poetry, humor, activism, and more. In this workshop, Elisha will introduce zines and show you how to make your own using just scissors and paper. No drawing skills are required, you’ll explore collage, creative writing, and other mediums. Just bring your creativity!
Elisha Rush is an artist and freelance illustrator known for whimsical creatures inspired by Appalachian folklore. She holds a BFA from West Virginia University and runs Spring Fox Studios, working with local nonprofits, small businesses, and community clients.
Thanks to a grant from the Scotts Run Resonance Project, these art workshops are free and open to all ages.
