The Magic of Physics will be hosted on April 11 in White Hall B51, located on the ground floor of White Hall on WVU’s Downtown Campus. The first 50 children in attendance will receive a science gift bag, with more prizes throughout the show for the audience!
At this event, physics and astronomy graduate students will illustrate a variety of physics and astronomy phenomena at an age-appropriate level using demonstrations to promote an interest in science. Topics include simple mechanics, projectile motion, electricity and magnetism, angular momentum, inertia, and waves and diffraction.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT:
⭐ White Hall is located on the Downtown Campus of West Virginia University at 135 Willey Street. The event will be hosted in the building’s annex, located directly across the street from the Lutheran Campus Ministry along University Avenue.

⭐ Please be aware that the show includes loud demonstrations that may be overwhelming for those with sensory sensitivities.
⭐ For the purpose of creating promotional materials and maintaining event archives, photographers will be present. Please be advised that photographs will be taken, with the primary subject being the demonstrations.
