West Virginia’s legendary creatures are set to return to Taylor County this fall! Taylor County Family Resources is launching its sixth annual Monster Hunt, a unique event combining local folklore, family fun, and a vital educational message about the dangers of gambling.
This community-wide scavenger hunt officially kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 21, with the first clue released at 10 a.m. Participants will embark on a trail of clues leading to 15 monster cutouts scattered throughout the community. These figures are inspired by iconic West Virginia cryptids like the Grafton Monster, Mothman, and other well-known legendary creatures.
