Vegetable Man Day 2026

Held at the Frank & Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center, Vegetable Man Day celebrates Marion County’s very own strange Cryptid known as the Vegetable Man, all West Virginia Cryptids, and folklore/storytelling of the Mountain State. Cryptid-themed artist vendors, live WV Appalachian music, guest speakers, food trucks, and more will be available to attendees. Entry is free and open to all ages!
