In 2017, Morgantown guitarist and singer Terry Schnell teamed up with keyboardist Steve Paris to recapture the spark of classic coffeehouse performances — and the result is the dynamic duo Schnell & Paris. Audiences often remark that they “sound like more than two people,” thanks to Steve’s expressive piano and high harmonies paired with Terry’s rhythmic acoustic guitar and soaring harmonica solos.
Their repertoire ranges from inventive covers like “Blackbird” by Paul McCartney to Andrew Combs’ “Emily,” alongside heartfelt originals including “When You Come Home” and “Me Without You.” The result is a harmony-driven, richly layered performance that closes the season on a high note.
