Sterling Edwards Watercolor Workshop at the MAA Gallery

The Morgantown Art Association will be hosting a Watercolor Workshop by internationally renowned master, author and instructor Sterling Edwards from 9-4 p.m. on April 9-12 at the MAA Gallery at 5000 Greenbag Road. This workshop will be one of Mr. Edwards’ last in-person workshops before moving instruction fully online and will focus on creating expressive, stylized and abstract works of art. During the workshop, the artist will explain and demonstrate a wide variety of watercolor techniques, such as building a strong composition, working with large brushes, creative color mixing, creative design, saving select areas of white paper, negative painting, charging and glazing colors and much more. This workshop is appropriate for ALL SKILL LEVELS of watercolor artists and costs $428-481.50. A $100 deposit will hold your spot, and the full amount is due by March 9.
